Who are we ?
Airea is an independent consultancy firm with 25 years' experience in air quality studies, measurement and modeling.
Our team of engineers is fully conversant with the various technical, normative and regulatory aspects, and implements and develops indoor and outdoor air quality measurement methods (gaseous pollutants, particles, comfort parameters, bacteria and molds, etc.) adapted to each specific problem.
With its network of recognized experts, Airea also supports public and private institutions in carrying out integrated studies and approaches, pilot projects and innovative solutions. Our design office works with partner analysis laboratories with the best skills for the pollutants measured.
The company is currently expanding in the French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM) and internationally in the field of consulting and expertise, as well as through the implementation of local measurement campaigns: New Caledonia, French Guiana, Martinique, Mali, Brazil, Morocco...
Technicality
Independence
Airea carries out diagnostics completely independently and does not develop any activity of installation or maintenance of ventilation systems, nor of marketing of purification systems, depolluting products or measuring instruments (micro-sensors, etc.).
Following the completion of an air quality measurement campaign, the samples taken are entrusted to independent analysis laboratories, partners of Airea for over 10 years, COFRAC accredited and/or presenting the best skills in the field studied : odors, chemical, particulate, microbiological pollutants.
Proximity
Airea has a small, adaptable and available team, allowing it to build a quality personalized customer relationship .
Each file is handled by one or two engineers depending on the scale of the study in order to guarantee a relationship of trust throughout the project.
The results are processed and interpreted by the lead engineer who implemented the measurements in the field, which allows us to offer our clients a dedicated contact who has mastered the entire file .
Our main values
The studies are carried out by engineers/doctors who master the regulatory framework of the different fields of study and the best metrological techniques allowing the most relevant air quality measurements to be sized and carried out depending on the problem.
The measures are implemented on the basis of a dedicated instrumental park , whose instruments are certified and meet the most demanding standards. They allow great responsiveness in the organization of campaigns and better control of samples.
Our networks
Airea is a member of Fimea, the Interprofessional Federation of Atmospheric Environment Professions, whose main missions are to structure the French air quality industry and develop it in France and internationally. A sector of excellence, it brings together more than 120 companies (VSEs, SMEs, large groups) with expertise in the fields of air quality, both inside buildings and for land use planning or industrial environments.
Airea is a member of the Paris Region Business Club network, which today brings together almost 2,500 Paris Region companies supported by the Île-de-France region. The network's main objectives are to develop support, innovation and cooperation between companies in the Paris Region.
Airea is a member of the Vivre et Entreprendre network, an association created in 2002 that plays a driving role in local economic development and the dynamics of eastern Paris. Etienne de Vanssay has been its president since July 1, 2021.
